Introduced in 1993, this well car is an extended design from previous ones that only carried containers. It can carry both containers and trailers, adding great versatility to intermodal trains. Its lower - sided design allows trailers to be loaded easily by lift equipment. It also has two hitches for 28 - foot trailers.
