The WalthersMainline 34' 100-Ton Two-Bay Hopper in HO scale is a great choice for your model railway. It's perfect for moving all kinds of bulk loads that don't need weather protection. This hopper, with the Southern Railway SOU #103305 in brown color, is a one-time run with limited quantity. It was in service from the 1970s until now and used to haul ballast, sand, gravel, ore and other bulk loads. It features factory-applied door and brake details, a heavy die-cast metal underframe, correct 36' RP-25 turned metal wheelsets and Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers. You can add a realistic load in minutes with the separately sold cast resin Chooch Gravel Load (214-7292). Note that the picture may show a different road number.
