The TCS LT-50 'Layout Throttle' is a well - designed wired LCC throttle with a built - in command station. It fits your hand comfortably and gives easy access to all buttons. Ideal for newcomers and layout operators, it's a highly - capable and portable choice. Packed with features like RailComĀ®, it offers more than you expect. The LT - 50 brings a new level of convenience to model railroads. Its intuitive interface lets you focus on operating and enjoying your trains. It has an encoder - style knob for menu navigation and speed control, and comes with a spare knob. The package includes a 15V power supply, a fascia panel, cover plate, mounting screws, detachable track power connector, and an RJ - 45 cable. The large 1.42' x 0.92' full - text LCD screen has an adjustable white backlight. There are 9 programmable buttons and switches for various functions. It supports multiple connection modes, a simple consisting system, Yard Mode, full - text menus, and help text. It even has a flashlight! Using the TCS LT - 50 is easy. First, connect it to the power supply included in the package. Then, use the encoder - style knob to navigate menus and control the speed of your trains. The large screen makes it clear to see all the information. To access help, just press the [ ] button on the keypad. When programming the buttons, think about what functions you use most often. If you connect it to an LCC network, it will act as a normal LCC throttle. For wired throttle experience, connect it to a CS - 105. When using Yard Mode, it's great for switching operations. Be careful when handling the unit to avoid dropping it. Keep it away from water and extreme temperatures. If the screen gets dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to clean it. The spare knob can be used if the original one gets damaged. Make sure to store it in a safe place when not in use.
