Description
This HO scale Atlas 20004667 11,000-gallon tank car, representing California Dispatch Line CDLX #1526 in black and white, is a great addition to your model railroad. Note that the picture might show a different road number. Propane or LPG was introduced in the 1940s as a cleaner and more efficient fuel. Transporting it needed specially designed high - pressure tank cars, and the 11,000 - gallon version was launched by ACF in 1947. The Atlas model comes in two versions: with and without platform rails. Cars with platform rails were for areas without elevated loading/unloading facilities, while those without were for customers with such facilities. Key features include finely molded handrails, tank fittings and safety placards, 50 - ton friction - bearing trucks with AccuMate® couplers, accurate painting and lettering, and a platform when appropriate.

Using this HO scale tank car is easy. Just place it on your model railroad track and enjoy the realistic look it adds to your layout. When handling, be gentle to avoid damaging the finely molded handrails and other small parts. Keep it away from sharp objects and rough surfaces. For maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to dust it regularly. If it gets dirty, you can use a mild soap and water solution, but make sure to dry it thoroughly to prevent any rust or damage to the paint and lettering. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain its quality over time.
