Using your WalthersProto 50' Evans Cushion Coil Car is easy. First, decide which type of removable hood you want to use - angled, round, or glass - fiber, and attach it to the car. You can then load large steel coils onto the V - shaped load cradle and secure them with the separate restraints. For a more detailed look, add the separately sold Cornerstone Steel Coil Load. When it comes to maintenance, keep the car clean. Wipe it down gently with a soft cloth to remove dust. Check the wheelsets regularly to make sure they spin freely. Avoid exposing the car to extreme temperatures or humidity as this can damage the metal parts. If you need to store the car, keep it in a dry and safe place. Also, be careful when handling the car, especially the etched metal walkways and grab irons as they can be delicate.
