Description
An exclusive Otter Valley product! The NSC 64Ft Gondola is perfect for the construction and waste disposal industries. It hauls waste to transfer sites and can also carry light - to - medium density steel and other scrapping materials. You can spot these cars across North America in unit or manifest train services, suitable for post - 2000 eras. This model features accurate ends and sloting based on real - world measurements. It has different offset slots for 7 - rung and 8 - rung ladder cars. The design uses industry sources and field data. It comes with a correctly sized air reservoir and brake levers in the release position, metal wheels, coupler cut bars, and proper air hoses. The Microtrains type Knuckle coupler ensures smooth operation. Separately applied ladders and a fully detailed underbody add to its realism. The near - scale draft gear box has specialized cushion details, and the painting and lettering are true to the prototype. The wheels are appropriately branded with Bremco or Timken.
Using this Otter Valley N Scale scrap and trash gondola model is simple. You can place it on your model train tracks just like any other train car. For best results, make sure the tracks are clean and smooth. When you're setting up a train formation, connect it to other cars using the Microtrains type Knuckle coupler. Be gentle when handling the model to avoid damaging the separately applied ladders and other delicate parts. As for maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the model regularly. If there's any dust in the moving parts like the wheels or couplers, you can use a small brush to remove it. Store the model in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent any damage from humidity or extreme temperatures. Remember, the picture might show a different road number, so don't be surprised if your model looks a bit different in that regard.
