Description
Scaletrains ExactRail Platinum presents the EP80554-1 PC&F 7633 Appliance Boxcar in HO Scale, representing the Missouri Pacific Lines as delivered in 1975 (#269043). Note that the picture might show a different road number. In March 1975, Pacific Car & Foundry delivered 40 of these 7633 cubic foot boxcars to the Milwaukee Road, numbered 4213 - 4252. Many had a return stencil, some were edited for new assignments, and others kept the original for years. After the Milwaukee Road ended, many went to the Canadian Pacific. This all - new model spans from 1975 to today. It's precision micro - tooled, fully assembled (except the kit), and comes with multiple road numbers. Designed, engineered, and tooled in the US, it has extremely accurate artwork. Features include ExactRail’s 70 - Ton Barber S - 2 Trucks, CNC - machined 33' metal wheel sets, Kadee #156 couplers, and a fully detailed body - mounted draft box. There are also numerous hand - applied details like air hoses, grab irons, door tracks, and door bars. The wire coupler cut levers and drop - down brake rigging add to its realism. In the 1970s, these 60' high - cube boxcars, often confused with auto parts boxcars, were delivered to multiple railroads. If you model from 1975 to now, this boxcar is a great addition!

Using this ExactRail HO scale appliance boxcar is easy. Just place it on your model train track and enjoy how it adds realism to your layout. It's fully assembled, so you can start using it right away, though if you got the kit, you'll need to put it together. When handling the boxcar, be gentle with the hand - applied details like the air hoses and grab irons as they can break easily. For maintenance, keep it clean by using a soft, dry cloth to wipe off dust. If it gets dirty, you can use a mild soap and water solution, but make sure to dry it thoroughly. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent any damage. With proper care, this boxcar will last you a long time and enhance your model railroad experience from 1975 all the way to the present day.
