Description
Walthers SceneMaster presents a 2-pack of fully assembled 40-foot 1970s-style Trailmobile Dry Van trailers for the Milwaukee Road, featuring a white body with a red logo. These trailers are perfect for vintage trailer-on-flatcar (TOFC) service and period HO highways from the 1970s to the 1980s. Each pack comes with two matching trailers. They were the standard length trailers commonly seen across North America during the 1970s and 1980s, a must-have for modeling period piggyback service. Dozens of railroads and trucking companies used them. They instantly add detail to vintage highways, loading docks, and terminals. The trailers have a highly detailed body with scale rivet details, four door latch bars, and landing gear that can be in up or down positions. Ready-to-use loads for 85-foot and 89-foot flatcars are sold separately.

Using these Walthers trailers is a breeze. Just place them on your HO scale layout, whether it's on a flatcar for TOFC service or on a vintage highway. They're fully assembled, so you can start using them right away. When handling, be gentle to avoid any damage to the detailed parts like the door latch bars and landing gear. To keep them in good condition, store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If they get dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe them clean. Remember, the ready-to-use loads for flatcars are sold separately, so you'll need to purchase them if you want to add that extra touch to your setup.
