Description
Scaletrains ExactRail Platinum presents an all - new HO scale model of the Pacific Car & Foundry 7633 Appliance Boxcar, specifically the Missouri Pacific Lines MP version delivered in 1975, numbered 269052. Note that the picture might show a different road number. In March 1975, Pacific Car & Foundry delivered 40 of these 7633 cubic - foot boxcars to the Milwaukee Road, numbered from 4213 to 4252. Many had a return stencil, some were edited for new assignments, and others kept the original stencil for years. After the Milwaukee Road ended, many went to the Canadian Pacific, mostly staying in their as - delivered paint. These 60' high - cube boxcars, often confused with auto parts boxcars, were also delivered to Western Pacific and Missouri Pacific. They were rated at 70 - tons and came with Barber S - 2 trucks. PC&F also offered a 100 - ton version. This model is a great addition for anyone modeling from 1975 to today. Key features include: it's from 1975 to present era, precision micro - tooled, fully assembled (except the kit), has multiple road numbers, designed and tooled in the US, with super - accurate artwork. It comes with ExactRail’s 70 - Ton Barber S - 2 Trucks, CNC - machined 33' metal wheel sets, Kadee #156 couplers, a fully detailed body - mounted draft box, many hand - applied details like air hoses and grab irons, separately applied door tracks and bars, wire coupler cut levers, and drop - down brake rigging.

Using this ExactRail HO scale appliance boxcar model is easy. Simply place it on your model train tracks and let it be part of your layout. It's fully assembled, so you can start using it right away. If you got the kit version, follow the included instructions to put it together. When handling the model, be gentle as it has many detailed parts like the hand - applied air hoses and grab irons. Avoid dropping or rough handling to prevent any damage. For maintenance, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the model. If there are some stubborn dirt spots, a mild soap solution can be used, but make sure to dry it thoroughly afterward. Store the model in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep the paint and details in good condition. This model is designed to last, so with proper care, it'll be a great part of your model train collection for years to come.
