Description
The ATLAS 50005150 N Scale 50' Smoothside RBL Boxcar by MPLX - Mountain Pine Lumber #1000 (picture might show a different road number) is a remarkable model. From 1963 to 1965, the Chicago Ridge plant of North American Car Company (NACC) made nearly 750 of their first in - house RBL, a smooth - sided car. It's a transition design between Pacific Car and Foundry offset door cars and later, more successful outside post RBLs. It has a centered plug door and a single 50’ 1” interior length. As lease cars, they had many colorful paint schemes from the 60s to the early 2000s. Key features include vivid and accurate paint schemes and road numbers, along with free - rolling trucks equipped with knuckle couplers.

Using this ATLAS N Scale boxcar is easy. Just place it on your N scale train track and let it roll along with your other train cars. When handling, be gentle to avoid any damage to the delicate details like the paint and couplers. For maintenance, keep it in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the paint from fading. Occasionally, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off any dust. If the trucks seem to be rolling less smoothly, you can use a small amount of model - train lubricant. Remember, this is a small and detailed model, so be careful with it to enjoy it for a long time.
