Description
ATLAS 50005149 N Scale 50' Smoothside RBL Boxcar by NIRX, featuring White House Apple Sauce #41297. (Picture might show a different road number)
From 1963 to 1965, the Chicago Ridge plant of North American Car Company (NACC) built nearly 750 of their first in - house RBL, a smooth - sided car with an inside post. It's a unique transitional design between Pacific Car and Foundry offset door cars and later, more successful outside post RBLs. This car has a centered plug door and a single 50’ 1” interior length. As lease cars, they wore many colorful paint schemes from the 60s to the early 2000s, even though they're less numerous than outside post versions.
Features:
- Colorful and accurate paint jobs and road numbers
- Free - rolling trucks with knuckle couplers

Using this ATLAS N Scale 50' Smoothside RBL Boxcar is easy. Just place it on your N - scale train track and let it roll with your other train cars. It's designed to connect smoothly with other cars using the knuckle couplers. When handling, be gentle to avoid any damage to the colorful paint schemes or the knuckle couplers. To maintain it, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the boxcar regularly. Keep it in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent any warping or damage to the free - rolling trucks.
