This is a top - notch Train Control Systems B - MB1 in HO Scale, part number 745 - 1544. It has dimensions of 2” x 1.19” x .48” (or 50.8mm x 30.2mm x 12.2mm). This motherboard is designed to replace the existing circuit board in a Bachmann Light 4 - 8 - 2 (short tender) or the 2 - 8 - 0. It can receive a WOW121 or EU621 decoder and comes with an onboard Keep Alive® (KA2 style) for smooth performance on tricky tracks. Also, it has onboard resistors for all LED solder pads. Note that this product needs a decoder to work, so pick up an EU621 or WOW121 decoder to use it.

Using this train control system is easy. First, make sure you have an EU621 or WOW121 decoder as the product won't work without it. Remove the existing circuit board from your Bachmann Light 4 - 8 - 2 (short tender) or 2 - 8 - 0, and then install this new motherboard. Connect the decoder to the board according to the instructions that come with the decoder. When using it on tracks, the onboard Keep Alive® (KA2 style) will ensure continuous performance even on troublesome parts. As for maintenance, keep the motherboard clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Check the connections regularly to make sure they are secure.
