Description
The Walthers Mainline 910 - 2735 is a remarkable HO scale model of the 40' AAR Boxcar from Pittsburgh & Lake Erie (P&LE) and New York Central, with road number #30156. This boxcar design was among the first standard ones adopted by American railroads. The 1937 40' AAR Modified Boxcar offers a limited - edition treat, with a one - time run of these road numbers. From the late 1930s to the 1980s, thousands of these cars were used in general service. It's based on taller cars with a 10' 6' interior height. Key features include 5 - 5 Dreadnaught ends, a Murphy panel roof, a wood running board, 6' Youngstown doors, AAR (tab) side sills, correct 33' turned - metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers.

Using this Walthers HO scale boxcar model is easy. You can place it on your model railroad track and integrate it into your train layout. It's a great addition to any railroad enthusiast's collection. When handling the boxcar, be gentle to avoid damaging the delicate parts like the Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers and the wood running board. For maintenance, you can use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. If there's dirt inside, use a small brush to carefully remove it. Store the boxcar in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent any color fading or warping. Also, make sure to keep it out of reach of small children as it has small parts that could be a choking hazard.
