Scaletrains ExactRail Platinum presents the EP80556-1 PC&F 7633 Appliance Boxcar in HO Scale. This model features the Canadian Pacific in red, with the number #4231 (picture might show a different road number). In March 1975, Pacific Car & Foundry delivered 40 of these 7633 cubic foot appliance boxcars to the Milwaukee Road, numbered from 4213 to 4252. Many had a return stencil, and some were later edited or painted over. After the Milwaukee Road ended, many went to the Canadian Pacific, with some repainted and most keeping their original paint. It's an all-new model with great features. It covers the era from 1975 to today. It's precision micro-tooled and fully assembled (except the kit). There are multiple road numbers. Designed, engineered, and tooled in the US, it has extraordinarily accurate artwork. It comes with ExactRail’s 70-Ton Barber S-2 Trucks, CNC-machined 33' metal wheel sets, and Kadee #156 couplers. The body-mounted draft box is fully detailed, and there are numerous hand-applied details like air hoses and grab irons, door tracks, and door bars. It also has wire coupler cut levers and drop-down brake rigging. In the 1970s, 60' high-cube appliance boxcars appeared from various manufacturers, often confused with auto parts boxcars. PC&F delivered these 7633 cubic foot boxcars to several railroads in early 1975. Even though they were bought by western or midwestern roads, they spent much time in the east. If you model from 1975 to today, this PC&F 7633 Appliance Boxcar is for you!

Using this ExactRail Platinum PC&F 7633 Appliance Boxcar is a breeze. Just place it on your HO scale railroad tracks and it's ready to roll. When handling it, be gentle to avoid damaging the hand - applied details like air hoses and grab irons. To keep it in top shape, regularly clean the wheels with a soft cloth to ensure smooth movement. If you notice any loose parts, like the wire coupler cut levers, you can use a small amount of glue to re - attach them. Store the boxcar in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the paint from fading. And remember, since it's a detailed model, don't expose it to rough play or strong impacts.
