Description
We're excited to present the BLI 7337 2-8-0 Consolidation, TH&B Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo #103 in HO Scale. This model comes with the advanced Paragon4 Sound & DCC system. Note that pictures might show a different road number. The 2-8-0 Consolidation was a game - changer, a super - efficient alternative to the 2 - 6 - 0 Mogul. It could haul twice as heavy trains at a much lower cost and was a global railroad favorite. After the Pennsy adopted it in 1875, over 33,000 were built in the US, with 12,000 exported. This new production run features a compact wheelbase and die - cast construction, perfect for steam lovers. It's designed to operate smoothly on smaller radius curves. All models are equipped with the Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC system, including synchronized puffing smoke, Rolling Thunder, and integral GoPack capacitors. Key features include an ALL - NEW Paragon4 Sound & Control System, synchronized puffing smoke, variable smoke intensity, an integral DCC Decoder for great slow - speed operation, a precision drive mechanism, a 5 - pole can motor, heavy die - cast parts for more tractive effort, premium painting, prototypical lighting, factory - installed figures, many separately applied details, rubber traction tires, and a recommended minimum radius of 18 inches. The Paragon4 system offers dual - mode operation, superb motor control, built - in capacitor pack, and a host of sound and lighting features for a realistic experience.

Using your BLI 7337 2 - 8 - 0 Consolidation locomotive is easy. First, make sure your track is clean and properly connected. You can operate it in either DC or DCC mode. In DC mode, use the DCMaster for sound. When starting, gradually increase the speed to let the locomotive get going smoothly. The built - in capacitor pack helps it handle imperfect track, but it'll automatically disable on the program track for compatibility with JMRI Decoder Pro. For lighting, use the Pro Lighting Mode to control each light individually. The Switcher Mode is great for precise low - speed control, like when you're maneuvering in a yard. To record and play back sounds and movements, use the Record & Play Operation feature. You can adjust the sound volumes of each effect, like the bell ringing interval and whistle length. When it comes to maintenance, regularly clean the locomotive and tender with a soft, dry cloth. Check the wheels for any dirt or debris that might affect its movement. Keep it in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust. If you have any issues, you can use the EZ Reset Button to return it to factory default settings.
