The model is inspired by a late - 1970s 263,000 lbs GRL (Gross Rail Loading) 4750 cubic - foot capacity hopper designed by Thrall Car mainly for grain transport. It features a weighted body for better stability, AccuMate® Knuckle Couplers for smooth connections, and accurate painting and lettering for a realistic look.
