Description
Discover the Scaletrains ExactRail Platinum EP80553-4 PC&F 7633 Appliance Boxcar in HO Scale. This is a model of the Missouri Pacific Lines MP as it was delivered in 1975, numbered #269037. Note that the picture might show a different road number. In March 1975, Pacific Car & Foundry sent 40 of these 7633 cubic - foot boxcars to the Milwaukee Road, numbered 4213 to 4252. Many cars had a return stencil, and some were later modified for new assignments. After the Milwaukee Road ended, many cars went to the Canadian Pacific. This is an all - new model with great features. It's from the era of 1975 to today. It's precision micro - tooled, fully assembled (except the kit), and has multiple road numbers. Designed and engineered in the US, it has extremely accurate artwork. It comes with ExactRail’s 70 - Ton Barber S - 2 Trucks, CNC - machined 33' metal wheel sets, and Kadee #156 couplers. The body - mounted draft box is fully detailed, and there are numerous hand - applied details like air hoses and grab irons. In the 1970s, these 60' high - cube appliance boxcars were introduced by multiple manufacturers. They were often confused with auto parts boxcars. The 7633s were rated at 70 tons and delivered with Barber S - 2 trucks. Even though they were bought by western or midwestern railroads, they spent a lot of time in the east. If you're modeling from 1975 to now, this PC&F 7633 Appliance Boxcar is perfect for you!

Using your ExactRail Platinum HO Scale Appliance Boxcar is easy. First, carefully unpack it from the box. If it's not a kit, it's already fully assembled. You can simply place it on your model train tracks. When setting it up, make sure the tracks are clean and free of debris to ensure smooth movement. As for maintenance, from time to time, use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the body of the boxcar to remove dust. Check the wheels regularly to make sure they're rotating freely. If you notice any loose parts like the hand - applied details such as air hoses or grab irons, you can use a small amount of appropriate glue to reattach them. Avoid using harsh chemicals on the boxcar as it may damage the paint and details. Keep it stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the paint from fading. And that's all you need to know to enjoy your model boxcar for a long time!
