The Atlas 150-50004733 is an N scale 11,000 gallon tank car TWOX, specifically numbered as Tidewater Associated #4004. Note that the picture might show a different road number. Propane or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) emerged as a cleaner and more efficient fuel in the 1940s. Transporting LPG needed specially designed high - pressure tank cars. In 1947, ACF introduced the 11,000 gallon tank car, which was built in large numbers until the mid - 1950s.
