Description
The Atlas 20005771 ACF 3 Bay Covered Hopper NAHX - Westroc #45613 in HO Scale is a remarkable model. Note that the picture might show a different road number. Introduced in 1961 by ACF®, the Cylindrical Hopper was the first commercially successful tank - type covered hopper car design for hauling sand, clay, salt, grain, and bulk plastics. Even today, you can still spot some of the over 4,000 cars of this type built before 1966 in use across the United States. This model comes with great features like see - through roof walks, blackened metal wheels, free - rolling 100 - ton trucks, detailed brake gear, AccuMate® couplers, and fine painting and printing.

Using this HO scale model train hopper is easy. Just place it on your model train track and couple it with other cars using the AccuMate® couplers. It's designed to roll freely with the 100 - ton trucks, so it should move smoothly along the track. When handling, be careful not to damage the see - through roof walks or the detailed brake gear. To keep it in good condition, clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid getting it wet as it might damage the fine painting and printing. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. If you notice any loose parts like the blackened metal wheels, you can try to gently tighten them. But if the problem persists, it might be best to contact the manufacturer for assistance.
