Description
This is a limited - edition HO scale Tangent Scale Models PS - 4427 covered hopper car painted for the freelance railroad Gulf and Ship Island. The road number is GSI 43877. The picture might show a different road number. These cars are in a '1989 Repaint' version, painted white like the sand on Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches, representing samples from the GSI 42700 - GSI 42999 series. The Gulf and Ship Island was a prototype railroad from 1882 to 1925 and is now part of the network of Christopher Palmieri's Freelance Meridian Speedway railroads. Using the 'Steering Wheel' logo drawn by Robert Tomb, these cars elegantly blend history and freelance elements.
This HO scale covered hopper car is a great addition to your model railroad collection. To use it, simply place it on your HO scale tracks and let it roll along. When handling the car, be gentle to avoid any damage to the delicate parts. Keep it away from sharp objects and excessive force. For maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the car regularly. This will help keep its white paint looking fresh and the details of the 'Steering Wheel' logo clear. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent any warping or discoloration. Enjoy the unique blend of history and freelance design that this car brings to your collection.
