Description
The Digitrax BDL716 LocoNet Block Detector is suitable for all scales. It's a great replacement for the BDL168. This detector features all plug - in connectors, making installation and service a breeze. You can define it with 16 DS reporting addresses in the 1 to 2000+ DS range. It's easy to set up using the device Option Switches (OPSW). Powered by a 2mm DC jack, it can work with a voltage ranging from 8V min to 22V max. It's configured to operate with DCC booster power from various command stations like DCS52, DCS100, DCS210, DCS210+, DCS240, DCS240+ and boosters such as DB210 and DB220. Moreover, it can be split into two 8 - DS areas to operate from two separate boosters. There's also an optional Detection and Power status led connector for remote state indication, compatible with devices like LT5C.
Using the Digitrax BDL716 LocoNet Block Detector is easy. First, connect it using the plug - in connectors for a simple installation. To set it up, use the device Option Switches (OPSW) to define your 16 DS reporting addresses within the 1 to 2000+ DS range. Make sure to power it with a 2mm DC jack and keep the voltage between 8V and 22V. It works well with different DCC booster power sources, so choose the right one according to your setup. You can split it into two 8 - DS areas if you have two separate boosters. When it comes to the optional Detection and Power status led connector, connect it if you want remote state indication.
