Using this GEN - MB1 Motherboard Dsl is easy. First, make sure you have a decoder (either an EU621 or WOW121) as this product won't work without one. Then, replace the original lighting board in your Athearn Diesel Genesis locomotive with this motherboard. The built - in KA2 Keep Alive® will help the locomotive run smoothly on troublesome tracks.
