Speaker enclosures can enhance speaker performance. The WOW121 is a universal sound decoder for locomotives with DCC - ready 21 - pin MTC connectors and can work with TCS' motherboards. It supports up to 8 lighting functions. Note that functions 5 and 6 are non - programmable and output constant bright lights. Check the 'Sounds List' under the 'Documents' tab for available sounds. It also offers amazing features like CD - quality sound, Back EMF Load Compensation for great speed control, Quiet Drive for noise - free motor performance, DC Mode, Variable Momentum, Function Remapping, Programmable Lighting Effects, Dimmable Brightness, Decoder Lock, Airwire™ Compatibility, CAM for chuff rate synchronization, Audio Assist® for easy programming, User - Loadable Speed Tables, multiple Throttle Modes, and True Scale Sound for a realistic experience.

Using the 1525 TCS Train Control Systems WOW121 Steam decoder is a breeze. First, connect it to your locomotive with a DCC - ready 21 - pin MTC connector. If you're using a motherboard, attach the decoder to it. This will determine the support for lighting functions. When it comes to speakers, make sure to use an 8 Ω speaker with at least 1 Watt power rating. If your speaker has less power, turn down the volume to avoid issues. For lighting, keep in mind that functions 5 and 6 are non - programmable and always output constant bright lights. When wiring multiple lighting functions, plan accordingly. To check the available sounds, go to the 'Sounds List' under the 'Documents' tab. For maintenance, keep the decoder clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you want to program the decoder, use the Audio Assist® feature. You don't need to memorize CVs. Enjoy customizing your acceleration, deceleration, speed curves, and lighting effects to create a unique model train experience.
