Description
This N Scale Atlas Trainman caboose is a great addition to your train collection. It's a C&O-Style Steel Center-Cupola Caboose, specifically representing RF&P Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac 923 in blue and white. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The first all-steel cabooses for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad were made in 1937 by Magor Car Corporation in Clifton, N.J. Along with St. Louis Car Company and ACF, they built 350 cabooses with a similar design until 1949. Many stayed in service until the 1980s due to rebuilding and modernization. Similar cabooses were also built for Pere Marquette, Missouri Pacific, and Chicago & Eastern Illinois. Key features include a sharply molded body, a weighted and detailed underframe, AccuMate® knuckle couplers, and window glazing.
Using this N Scale Atlas Trainman caboose is easy. Simply connect it to your train set using the AccuMate® knuckle couplers. It will add a realistic touch to your layout. When handling the caboose, be gentle to avoid any damage to the crisply molded body or the window glazing. To keep it in good condition, clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can scratch the paint or damage the details. Store the caboose in a cool, dry place to prevent any rusting of the metal parts. With proper care, this caboose will be a long - lasting part of your train collection.
