Get the Tangent 27082-01 HO scale model train G41A coil car hoods. This 2-pack comes painted and assembled with the Conrail (CR) “Version 2 Logo”. The picture might show a different road number. The PRR made removable coil hoods for the Samuel Rea Shops G41A gondolas to protect steel loads from moisture and damage. These hoods were painted and had a stenciled railroad logo. In the PC era, the G41A hoods got various repaints, mixing and matching PRR/PC (and later CR) hoods in the 1970s. That's why Tangent offers these ready-to-run painted and lettered hoods as separate parts for the Tangent G41A model. There are two different PC and CR paint schemes in the hood packs, allowing you to replicate the real - world variety. Each 2 - pack has a pair of ready - to - run, assembled, painted, and lettered hoods. A cool fact: the Tangent hoods can be stacked just like the real ones!
