This is a limited - edition HO scale 86' Double Plug Door Boxcar from HomeShops, painted for the freelance model railroad Cincinnati & Lake Erie. It's part of the January 2023 release by Tangent Scale Models. The car body is based on the 1977 - 1978 Greenville Steel Car Company prototype. The boxcar features a beautiful Box Car Red color with a unique, stylized CLE Logo. Marked 'BRO', it's assigned to the Ford Brownstone plant. It represents an order of auto - parts boxcars delivered in 1978 in the series CLE 675000 through CLE 675499. A key feature of this production is five grab irons on each side. As with all Tangent cars, it has many fine details, crisp paint edges, metal wheels, scale metal Kadee couplers, and rotating journal endcaps. Note that the picture might show a different road number.

Using this HO scale boxcar is easy. Just place it on your model railroad track and it'll fit right in with both prototype and freelance auto - parts boxcars. When handling the boxcar, be gentle to avoid damaging the fine details like the grab irons and the paint. For maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the car body from time to time. If there's dust on the metal wheels, you can use a very small amount of mild cleaner and a soft brush to clean them. Keep the boxcar in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the paint from fading. Also, make sure to store it properly so that the couplers and other parts don't get bent or damaged.
