The Atlas 10004242 EMD GP40 - 2 CSX #6235 in HO scale comes with DCC and Sound. It features front and rear ditch lights, and is colored yellow, blue, and gray. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The GP40 - 2 is EMD's follow - up to the successful GP40. It has internal upgrades like improved Dash 2 electrical components and some external differences from late - production GP40s. It's powered by a 16 - cylinder EMD 645 - series 3,000 - horsepower diesel engine. Phase 2 units (mid - 1976 to late - 1979) have an 88” low nose, corrugated radiator grilles, and notched step wells. The model has many great features such as golden - white LEDs, a realistic die - cast underframe, and more.
