Description
The Digitrax Zephyr Express Starter Set is a game - changer in the world of model trains. This newly released version of the Zephyr DCS52, made for the United States, replaces the 245 - ZEPX. It offers a cost - effective entry into the LocoNet Compatible system, providing simple yet advanced train control at a great price. With its 3.0 Amp LocoNet Command Station, Booster, and Throttle, it can run up to 20 loco addresses and throttles simultaneously. The 2.4” color LCD display screen and large backlit keypad make operation a breeze. It has a smooth speed control knob and direction switch with brake, along with easy 2 and 4 digit addressing. The integrated USB computer interface allows for further customization. The set includes a DCS52 All - In - One Throttle/Command Station/Booster, a PS314 Power supply, a Quickstart Guide, a Manual, and a Digitrax Decoder Manual. You can run multiple trains at once without blocking, and use jump ports to add DC power packs as additional throttles. It has over 9000 locomotive addresses, 3.0 Amps of power for multiple trains, and 29 function controls for lights and sound. It also supports stationary decoder control, turnout control, and various consisting methods, as well as decoder programming. And it's fully expandable with the Digitrax LocoNet.

Using the Digitrax Zephyr Express Starter Set is a piece of cake. First, connect the PS314 power supply to the DCS52 All - In - One Throttle/Command Station/Booster. Then, hook up your model trains to the system. You can use the large backlit keypad and 2.4” color LCD display to select loco addresses and control functions like lights and sound. To run multiple trains, just set different addresses for each. If you want to add more throttles, use the jump ports to connect DC power packs. When it comes to addressing, you can choose 2 - digit or 4 - digit options based on your preference. For programming decoders, use the built - in read/write programmer. Be careful when handling the equipment, especially the power supply, to avoid electric shock. Keep the set away from moisture and dust. Periodically check the connections to make sure they are secure. If you're not using the set for a long time, store it in a dry place. And don't forget to refer to the included manuals if you have any questions.
