Description
This is an N scale Atlas 50006021 ACF 5701 hopper model of Interstate Seed Co. CRDX #1060 in yellow and black. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The 40 - foot boxcar is a very popular freight car used during the railroad's transition from steam to diesel. The Pullman Standard or PS - 1 design, in particular, was widely used by North American railroads from 1947 to 1963, with over 100,000 produced. Although they share a basic design, details like door size, style, and roof type vary by railroad and production year. Key features include body - mounted Accumate couplers, Barber S - 2A 50 - ton trucks with metal wheels, separately applied ladders, an etched metal roof walk, a 10 - foot or 12 - foot stiffener roof per the prototype, and Ajax and Miner brake wheels.

Using this N scale hopper model is easy. You can place it on your model railroad track just like you would with other cars. When setting it up, make sure the couplers are properly connected to other cars to ensure smooth movement. As for handling, be gentle when moving it around to avoid damaging the separately applied ladders or other delicate parts. When it comes to maintenance, you can use a soft, dry cloth to clean the body of the model. Avoid using any harsh chemicals as they may damage the paint. If the wheels seem to be getting a bit sticky, you can use a small amount of lubricant made for model trains on the axles. Also, store the model in a cool, dry place to prevent any warping or damage over time.
