Description
This is an HO scale Otter Valley 65002 FCA 52-foot bulkhead pipe car with the road number CWLX #200005. Please note that the picture might show a different road number. It's a 100-ton bulkhead flatcar in HO scale and comes without a load. This car is designed to handle the transportation of various pipe products and rods to oil fields and producer sites. It's suitable for the era from 2016 to the present. The model features accurate side stake profiles, reinforced ends, and prototypical flooring. It has a correct-size air reservoir and brake levers in the release position, metal wheels, and knuckle couplers. The coupler cut bars and air hoses are also correct. It's a brand-new model designed using industry sources and field measurements. It comes with separately applied ladders, a fully detailed underbody, a near-scale draft gear box with specialized cushion details, crisp painting, and lettering like the prototype. The wheel caps can rotate, and there are appropriate Bremco or Timken markings. It also has full details for empty/load equipment.

Using this HO scale bulkhead pipe car is easy. You can simply place it on your model train track as part of your train setup. When it comes to using it for transportation in your model railway world, just imagine it carrying different types of pipes and rods to oil field sites. There are a few things to note. Since it comes without a load, you'll need to source your own pipe or rod models if you want to display it with a load. Also, be careful when handling the model to avoid damaging the small details like the ladders and couplers. For maintenance, you can use a soft brush to gently clean the model and remove any dust. If there are any parts that seem loose, you can use a small amount of glue to fix them. Store the model in a dry and cool place to keep it in good condition.
