This is a limited - edition HO scale Atlas USRA rebuilt 40' steel box car painted for the freelance model railroad of St. Louis County. The road number is STLC 443. The picture might show a different road number. The St. Louis County (STLC), Ed Stoll's freelance model railroad, is a transition - era terminal railroad known for great connections and reliable service. Its slogan is 'Around the Arch and not Through It.' The black, green, and gold livery looks stunning. By WWII, most classic USRA double - sheathed box cars were rebuilt with steel sides, and these steel - side rebuilds are a great addition to the Atlas HO scale line.
