Check out the Digitrax UT6D Duplex Utility Throttle, perfect for all scales. Ctrl-click the link below to watch Chris from Digitrax demonstrate the new UT6D Throttle: %%GLOBAL_ShopPathSSL%%/content/ut6d.mp4. This throttle has many great features. It works with compatible LocoNet Systems. Its compact size allows for easy one - handed operation. The 1.5 - inch color LCD display screen provides clear visuals. With full numeric keys, selecting locomotives is a breeze. The encoder knob offers fine speed control, and the forward/reverse toggle switch with braking gives you good control. It has an on/off switch and can use AA or BP600MH batteries. It can access 2 or 4 - digit locomotive decoders, providing over 9,000 loco addresses and 29 functions. It supports Digitrax Infrared operation with UR90/91/92 and duplex wireless with UR93/92. There's a duplex scanner and settings editor, over 2000 turnout decoder addresses, a locomotive recall feature, and a convenient throttle option setup. It also comes with a detachable LocoNet cable and lanyard, and it replaces the UT4D.

Using the Digitrax UT6D Throttle is quite straightforward. First, make sure you've got the right power source. You can use AA batteries or BP600MH batteries. Turn it on using the on/off switch. To select a locomotive, just use the full numeric keys. You can control the speed precisely with the encoder knob, and use the forward/reverse toggle switch to change the direction and apply brakes. When it comes to using the infrared or duplex wireless functions, connect it with the corresponding UR devices like UR90/91/92 or UR93/92 as required. For turnout control, it can handle over 2000 decoder addresses. The locomotive recall feature is handy if you often use the same locomotives. Just set it up once and recall them easily later. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. If you're not using it for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. When you want to change any settings, use the duplex scanner and settings editor to make the adjustments. And that's all you need to know to get the most out of your Digitrax UT6D Throttle.
