ATLAS 50005147 NACC 50' Smoothside RBL Boxcar - NADX - Sexton Foods #50163 N Scale

The ATLAS 50005147 is a high - quality N Scale model of the NACC 50' Smoothside RBL Boxcar. Between 1963 and 1965, the North American Car Company's Chicago Ridge plant made nearly 750 of these unique inside - post or'smoothside' cars. It was a bridge design between the Pacific Car and Foundry offset door cars and the more commercially successful outside - post RBLs. This boxcar had a centered plug door and came in a single 50’ 1” interior length. As lease cars, they sported many colorful paint schemes from the 60s to the early 2000s. The model features accurate and colorful paint jobs and road numbers, along with free - rolling trucks equipped with knuckle couplers. (Picture may show a different road number).
