Description
The ATLAS 50005140 N Scale NACC 50' Smoothside RBL Boxcar represents a piece of railway history. From 1963 to 1965, the North American Car Company's Chicago Ridge plant built nearly 750 of these inside - post or'smoothside' cars. It's a transitional design between Pacific Car and Foundry offset door cars and later, more commercially successful outside post RBLs. This boxcar has a centered plug door and a 50’ 1” interior length. As lease cars, they had many colorful paint schemes from the 60s to the early 2000s. Key features include vivid and accurate paint jobs and road numbers, along with free - rolling trucks equipped with knuckle couplers. (Picture may show a different road number.)

Using this N scale boxcar is easy. Simply place it on your model train track and couple it with other cars in your train set. When handling, be gentle to avoid any damage to the paint or the couplers. For maintenance, keep it in a clean and dry place. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off any dust. If there are any stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and a very soft brush, then dry it thoroughly. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can affect the paint and the structural integrity of the car.
