This Atlas 20005676 HO scale 60 - foot ACF Auto Parts SD Boxcar in Conrail livery (CR) with number #216272 is a great addition to your model train collection. Built by American Car & Foundry from the late 1960s to early 1970s, these box cars were used to serve assembly plants and component suppliers across the nation. They had single or double doors, making it easy to access the freight and were very versatile for the auto industry. Many are still in service in North America today. Features include 70 - ton roller - bearing trucks with blackened metal wheels and adjustable screws, an authentically painted and detailed body with sliding doors and 'Precision Design' recessed panels, a prototypically designed roof and ends with full rivet detail, a detailed die - cast metal underframe for better operation, a separate brake system and air reservoir, a cushion underframe with extended coupler pockets, AccuMate® operating knuckle couplers with mounting screws, and roof overspray.
