Take our advice! The UncoupleLITETM is the top - notch new tool for model railroad hobbyists. It's also a perfect go - anywhere precision pinpoint flashlight. Custom - designed by our Product Development Team and made just for Micro - Mark, the UncoupleLITETM makes uncoupling a breeze. It can handle many HO, On30, and O scale locomotives and cars (even some N scale) anywhere on your model railroad, even in the dark. Just click the button, and a bright LED light shines through the clear acrylic rod to the tool's tip, lighting up couplers better than any other tool for precise uncoupling. To use, slide the tapered tip between the coupler knuckles and twist gently to separate the cars. With a 4' lighted tip and less than 1/4' diameter at its thickest, it's super useful as a pinpoint flashlight, providing focused, non - glare light in tight spots. It comes with a 4' x 1/2' stainless steel body, a push - button on/off switch, a removable 4' x 1/4' acrylic light rod, and a key ring. It needs one AAA battery (not included).

Using the UncoupleLITETM is easy. First, if you want to use it for uncoupling, turn it on by pressing the push - button on/off switch. Then, slide the tapered tip of the tool between the knuckles of the couplers on your model railroad cars or locomotives. Gently twist the tool, and the cars will smoothly separate. When using it as a flashlight, just turn it on and point the lighted tip into the area you need to illuminate, like inside machinery or confined spaces. Remember, the tool requires one AAA battery, which is not included, so make sure you have one ready. When it comes to maintenance, keep the acrylic light rod clean. You can remove it for cleaning if needed. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent damage to the stainless steel body. Also, don't forget to turn it off when not in use to save battery life.
