Description
The Digitrax DZ126IN is a 2-function mobile decoder with a 6-pin NEM 651 type plug, suitable for many Z, N, and HO locomotives across all scales. It has a compact size of 0.36” x 0.42” x 0.13” (9.05mm x 10.61mm x 2.67mm). With a 1.0 Amp/1.5 Amps peak current rating and 0.5 Amp for functions, it offers 2 FX³ functions. The FX³ function outputs provide prototypical lighting effects, including constant brightness lighting, optimized for LED or incandescent lamps. It has realistic effects like ditch lights and mars lights, and configurable pulse functions. It also features function mapping, a master light switch, and advanced consist function controls. The Digitrax LocoMotion® System ensures your locomotives look and run realistically, with scaleable speed stabilization, torque compensation, and more. You can program CVs using any Digitrax Compatible Control system without extra equipment. It supports 2 and 4 digit addressing, basic and advanced consisting, and has a SuperSonic motor drive for silent operation. Other features include direct mode programming, decoder reset, transponder readiness, motor isolation protection, automatic analog mode conversion, decoder lock, and a Digitrax “No Worries” Warranty.

Using the Digitrax DZ126IN decoder is easy. First, make sure your locomotive is compatible with the 6-pin NEM 651 type plug. Then, simply connect the decoder to your locomotive. You can use any Digitrax Compatible Control system to program the CVs without needing to buy extra equipment. When setting up the speed and functions, you can choose from different options like 128 speed step operation or 28 step speed tables for precise control. For lighting effects, the FX³ functions give you a lot of flexibility. You can create realistic lighting scenarios with just a few settings. As for maintenance, keep the decoder clean and free from dust. If you notice any issues with the motor or functions, check the connections first. Also, be careful when programming to avoid accidentally resetting important settings. The decoder has motor isolation protection, but still try to avoid overloading it. In case you need to reset the decoder, you can do it with or without resetting the speed table. And remember, it comes with a Digitrax “No Worries” Warranty, so you can use it with confidence.
