The Digitrax DN166PS is an 8-pin 6-function decoder that fits many N and HO scale locomotives. It features the Digitrax Easy Connect system, allowing for a seamless connection from an 8-pin plug to an 8-pin DCC medium plug. With a size of 0.87” x 0.4” x 0.2” (22.16mm x 10.28mm x 5.1mm), it offers a 1.0 Amp/1.5 Amps Peak motor current rating and 0.5 Amp for 6 FX3 functions. It works with the PX112-6F Power Xtender. The decoder provides prototypical lighting effects, realistic effects like ditch lights and strobes, and configurable pulse functions. It also has advanced consist function controls. The Digitrax LocoMotion System ensures your locomotives not only look real but run like the real thing, with scaleable speed stabilization, torque compensation, and various speed step operations. You can program CVs using any Digitrax Compatible Control system without extra equipment. It has 2-digit and 4-digit addressing, basic, advanced and universal consisting, and a SuperSonic motor drive for silent operation. It comes with motor isolation protection, automatic analog mode conversion, and a Digitrax 'No Worries' Warranty.
