Description
The Atlas 50006321 NE-6 Caboose - New Haven #667 in N scale features a red and white Alpert Scheme. The picture might show a different road number. This N scale model is inspired by a standard caboose design from the International Car Company of Kenton, Ohio, used in the 1940s. It's often linked with the New Haven Railroad, but other rail lines also used this style. These cabooses were long - lasting and were in operation well into the diesel era. Key features include being ready - to - run, having finely detailed end rails, smokestack, and ladders, brake line detail, a weighted chassis, appropriate friction - bearing or roller - bearing caboose trucks, factory - installed AccuMate® couplers, accurate painting and printing, and railroad - specific features. There are two body styles: the New Haven Body Style with windows closer to the cupola and the Nickel Plate Body Style with windows farther from the cupola.
Using this N scale Atlas caboose is easy. It's ready - to - run, so you can just place it on your N scale train track right out of the box. When handling it, be gentle to avoid damaging the finely detailed end rails, smokestack, and ladders. Also, take care of the brake line detail. For maintenance, keep it clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to dust it regularly. If you need to clean it more thoroughly, use a mild soap and water solution, but make sure to dry it completely to prevent any damage to the paint or the chassis. Check the AccuMate® couplers periodically to ensure they are working properly. When storing the caboose, keep it in a cool, dry place to avoid any warping or other damage.
