The Atlas 50006204 Trinity 3230 Hopper CRDX is a fine N scale model of the Chicago Freight Car #3085. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The Trinity 3230 Pressure Differential (PD) covered hopper is a smaller version of TrinityRail’s 5660 PD, developed from the base design by Thrall Car in the late 1990s. Its smaller size allows it to carry heavier loads like cement and different grades of fly ash. Most cars are operated by Railcar (Leasing) companies or Shippers.
