The Atlas 20005689 is a 60-foot ACF auto parts double-door boxcar in HO scale, representing Western Maryland Railroad #495991. Note that the picture might show a different road number. Built by American Car & Foundry from the late 1960s to the early 1970s, these box cars were essential for servicing auto assembly plants and component suppliers across the US. With single or double doors, they provided easy access to freight, making them very versatile for the auto industry. Many are still in use in North America today.
