Description
The NixTrainz Decoder Buddy Mini with a 1k Ohm resistor is designed for 21-Pin decoders in HO scale. It fits well in smaller steam and diesel models, and there's interest in HOn3 and S-Gauge applications too. The motherboard doesn't come with the 21-Pin Decoder and requires soldering. It's not for DC systems. Four axial resistors for LEDs (2.2K) are included, and custom resistors for function outputs can be requested via email. The motherboard features a 21-Pin Decoder receptacle, two pairs of track input pads, a pair of motor input pads, a set of stay alive pads, and a pair of speaker pads.

How to use: First, gather all the necessary tools for soldering. Place the Decoder Buddy Mini where you want it in your model. Solder the components to the appropriate pads on the motherboard. Connect the track, motor, speaker, and other parts according to the pad labels. Note that this motherboard is not for DC systems, so make sure your power source is compatible. Also, it doesn't come with the 21-Pin Decoder, so you'll need to provide that. Maintenance: Keep the motherboard clean and dry. Avoid touching the soldered parts with wet hands. If you need custom resistors for function outputs, you can request them by email. When storing, place it in a safe, static-free environment to prevent damage to the circuit board.
