Description
Deluxe Materials BD64 Aqua Magic is a 250ml one - part solution perfect for scale modelling of all types. It's ideal for creating realistic water effects like rivers, canals, lakes, ponds, puddles, and mud. This product requires no mixing, is safe, has a low odour, and is light - stable. It pours easily and dries clear in 36 - 48 hours to a highly reflective gloss finish. You can colour it with water - based dyes and paints and texture it as it dries. Just add layers to increase depth. Note that it's for water surfaces exposed to air for drying and isn't suitable for very deep or enclosed water applications. Features include crystal - clear finish, high - realism reflection, no mixing needed, thin - layer pouring up to 3mm, texturability, touch - dry in 24 - 36 hours, non - toxicity, and low odour. Clean brushes with hot soapy water. A 250ml pack covers about 0.1 sqm (1 sq ft) at 3mm depth. There are also useful hints like choosing enamel paints for the base, waiting 2 - 3 days between adding layers, and using Making Waves for wave effects. It comes in 250ml BD64 and 125ml BD65 pack sizes.

How to use Aqua Magic: First, colour the base with paint as you like and then seal it with a layer of Aqua Magic. Let it dry for about 24 hours. After that, pour more Aqua Magic up to a 3mm depth, making sure the surface is level. You can add texture while it dries. Remember, it's for water surfaces that can dry in the air, so don't use it for very deep or enclosed water. When it comes to choosing paint for the base, enamel paints work best. Always check the drying characteristics of the paint before pouring Aqua Magic over it. If you want to add more depth, wait 2 - 3 days between adding extra layers. For wave effects, once the acrylic paint is fully dry (which may take 2 - 3 days even if it feels dry to touch), you can use Making Waves. You can also add acrylic paints to create mud effects. To clean your brushes, just use hot soapy water. And keep in mind, a 250ml pack can cover about 0.1 sqm (1 sq ft) at 3mm depth.
