The Atlas Trainman 50006031 N Scale caboose, in C&O style, represents the C&MI Chicago & Illinois Midland 70 with a green and red color scheme. Note that the picture might show a different road number. In 1937, the Magor Car Corporation in Clifton, N.J., made the first all-steel cabooses for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad. Along with St. Louis Car Company and ACF, they built 350 cabooses with a similar design by 1949. Many of these cabooses stayed in service until the 1980s. Similar designs were also made for Pere Marquette, Missouri Pacific, and Chicago & Eastern Illinois. This caboose has crisply molded body details, a weighted and detailed underframe, AccuMate® knuckle couplers, and window glazing.

Using this N scale caboose is easy. Just place it at the end of your train set on the track. Make sure the AccuMate® knuckle couplers are properly connected to the previous car. When handling, be gentle to avoid any damage to the crisply molded body details or the window glazing. For storage, keep it in a dry and dust - free place. You can use a soft, dry cloth to clean the caboose occasionally. If you notice any loose parts, try to re - attach them carefully. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures as it might affect the material and the details of the caboose.
