This Soundtraxx MC2H104OP DCC mobile decoder is designed for HO - scale models. It measures 25 x 16 x 6mm and comes with a 9 - pin JST to 8 - pin NMRA wiring harness. Ideal for many DCC - ready models with an NMRA 8 - pin socket, it can operate in both DC and DCC, offering 4 functions.
Using this decoder is easy. First, make sure your model is DCC - ready with an NMRA 8 - pin socket. Connect the 9 - pin JST end of the wiring harness to the decoder and the 8 - pin NMRA end to your model. It can work in both DC and DCC systems, so choose the power source that suits your needs. When handling the decoder, be gentle as it's a delicate device. Keep it away from moisture and extreme temperatures. To maintain it, you can use a soft, dry cloth to clean it occasionally.
