This decoder features a wide range of prime movers in its sound set, including EMD, GE, ALCO, and Baldwin models. All sounds can be easily selected through Audio Assist®. The WOW501 is a universal 5 Amp sound decoder for large-scale locomotives. It comes with Keep Alive® on-board for smooth, stutter-free operation. Function 5 and 6 can be programmed to control a smoke unit. It offers CD-quality sound at 16 Bits of resolution and 44.1kHz sample rate. With features like Back EMF Load Compensation, Quiet Drive, Variable Momentum, and more, it provides excellent performance. It supports incandescent bulbs, has programmable lighting effects, dimmable brightness, and a decoder lock. It's Airwire™ compatible and comes with an exclusive Audio Assist® programming system. You can also configure custom speed tables and choose from multiple throttle modes. It uses the Proto Notch™ feature for realistic sound and performance. Interface Type: Hard-Wire. Using the TCS WOW501-Diesel decoder is easy. First, connect it to your locomotive using the hard-wire interface. Make sure to follow the wiring diagram carefully. To select different sounds, use the Audio Assist® system. You don't need to memorize CVs. For programming functions like the smoke unit, use the appropriate programming values. When it comes to speed and momentum, you can configure custom speed tables and acceleration/deceleration curves to suit your needs. You can also choose from multiple throttle modes.
